Lyman lived in Yates County, Jerusalem Township NY. About 1855-1860 the
family moved to Potter Co PA where the lived first in Bingham Township and
later in Roulet Township. Lyman was employed in the lumbering industry. His
wife later married William Morey in 1880. Maria died in 1916. Her death
certificate was filed under the name of Babcock. Lyman
and Maria are buried in the Sartwell Creek cemetery in Pleasant Valley Twp
(Potter Co) PA

Maria married 2) William Morey on 21 AUG 1880 in Roulet PA. William Morey
died 23 APR 1892. Although she remarried, Maria's death certificate is filed
under the name of Maria Babcock. She is buried with Lyman in Sartwell Creek
cemetery in Pleasant Valley Twp (Potter Co) PA.
