George moved to Angelica, NY (Allegany County) in 1818. Probably married
Mary Hinman in Rhode Island. He was highway commisssioner in 1837, assessor
in 1840, 1841, 1850, and 1858. He was poormaster in 1848. George was also
one of the founders of the Baptist Church in Angelica. He and Mary are buried
in Until the Day Dawns cemetery in Angelica, NY.

Nathan & wife lived in the towns of West Almond and Angelica, Allegany
County, NY where Nathan was a farmer and school teacher. In 1868 they moved
to Potter County, PA. Nathan was in the lumber business in the town of
Pleasant Valley, PA. In 1876 he was elected Associate Judge in Potter County
and moved his family to Coudersport. He remained in office 10 years. He
later moved to Roulet, PA and then returned to Pleasant Valley.

Dwight was living with his parents in 1850 (census records). He and wife
Sarah are in Angelica in 1880 census.

"Dwight Hammond was found dead from heart disease in bed at his home in Angelica, a few days ago. He was aged 74 years and is survived by his widow and one son"

The 1855 census for Angelica shows James, age 19, and Amelia age 18 (b.
Ireland, daughter-in-law of George ) both living with George. In 1860 James
and presumed dau., Henrietta (then age 3) are living with George and wife.
Amelia may have died bef. 1860. In 1870, Henrietta, age 12, is living
with Grandparents, George and wife. James is presumed to have died in civil
war.
